Summer Basketball League

The schedules are now available for the summer league. Games will begin next Thursday, June 11th. The season will include 7 regular season games for each team followed by an all inclusive double elimination tournament. The schedules can be downloaded here.

*I am also looking for a new fast, free, and easy to use file hosting site to use for posting the schedule, registration, & rule files online. (Geocities is closing down.) If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.*

Unfortunatly we have had 2 teams who I place on the schedule who have not yet completed registration nor did they show up for their first game. I have decided that instead of giving everyone an extra bye that I would schedule a "non-confrence" game for those teams who would normally have a bye week. These games will not count towards your overall league standings. If you are unable to play in your non-confrence game. Please let me know so that I can inform the other team. Thank you.

The schedule for the summer league has been posted. It is available on the link to the right or by clicking here. The file is in Excel (.xls) format. It will be updated throughout the season with standings. This page will also be updated the day after games with scores from the previous night.
I have tried to make the schedule as fair as possible to all teams as well as granting special schedule requests.
Please remember that you must have 5 players present to start a game. A 5 minute grace period will be granted from the scheduled start. If games are running behind the grace period will not be added to the end of the previous game.
In the event of a forfeit, the record will show a 2-0 win for the non-forfeiting team.
If you have any further questions please post them in the comments or e-mail them to me and I will address them as quickly as possible.

If you do not have Excel, you may use Open Office as an alternative.

'08 Spring Champions

Congratulations to the Scrubs on winning the championship for the 2008 spring season! They defeated SWAT Team in the championship game on Thursday, May 29. The Scrubs finished the season with an overall record of 13 and 1.
